| Comments | Third day in a row with my Henson Ti ++ and an RK blade. The shave was excellent. The Muhle synthetic brush did a superior job of making lather. This brush has more backbone than most synthetic brushes and got all the soap that is hiding around the rim! This is the 40th shave with the B&M soap and I think there are only a few more days for it. A nice shave on a beautiful sunny day in Florida. |

SE SOTD, Friday, December 23 2022
Razor : Yaqi Excalibur SE AC 50mm + Yaqi Milano handle - Mfg 2021> tame mid range, simple clamping system, small head parts. I very much enjoy this razor and it gets used once a week at least, very easy going shave mostly + excellent results 95%> of the time.
Blade : Schick proline p30 50mm- Sharp and smooth with reasonable longevity for a 50mm blade.(forgot to remove yesterday's blade OTD.)
Soap : Razorock The Dead Sea, very unique scent with excellent lather qualities. Very enjoyable soap scent + TDS aftershave!
Brush : Yaqi "Mysterious space" 24mm silvertip badger, excellent lather generator, heavenly pillow like soft tips, nice splay scrubber + great lather painter.
Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave : Razorock The Dead Sea aftershave with witch hazel + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless).
Results :CCS,DFS,BBs + no irritation + no weepers=
Excellent shave with my Yaqi Excalibur 50mm with a Schick proline p30 blade.

Christmas Eve Eve Shave
One of the gnomes assisted again today, this time with his big brother observing and taking notes. The little guy is holding my '69 Super-84 Adjustable with a Supermax Blue Diamond blade. Cella soap (endorsed by Santa), PAA StarCraft synthetic brush, and Old Spice Original AS. Casio AE1000W delivered by Santa a little early.

Only my 2nd shave with the Tatara and I’m loving it. Much smoother than my other razors. Feels almost effortless to achieve a BBS.
I don’t usually go this far with my lather, but I was bored. MWF exploded and was enough for BBS 3 pass on my neck and 2 passes on the wife’s legs
