This was an absolutely fabulous shave!
Beautiful start to the week here. The heat took me to the splendid green Proraso. To match it, SOC Boar, FOCS and Silver Star (3). A simple but efficient and above all pleasurable shave.

Greetings,
Early morning shave,
(Face & Head Shave)
A close comfortable BBS face and head shave to finish the month off superbly.
The Dorco prime platinum blade still felt smooth and efficient on it's third outing, which in my opinion is very good. Doing a head shave with any blade is equivalent of two face shaves in my way of thinking, as I find head shaving dramatically dulls the edge of a blade, lowering the longevity of a blade much quicker than it does with face shaving. YMMV. Another thing that has impressed me with the Dorco Prime Platinum is that every blade I've used from the batch I have has been good, not one blade has been a dud. The manufacturing QC quality at the Vietnam plant is excellent.
In May I will continue my focus with Ming Shi 2000s Futur clone for my combined face & head shaves and continue to use a variety DE razors for my face shaves pairing them all together with the Dorco Prime Platinum and trying out the four packs of La Barbiera shaving soaps that I've had for sometime but haven't got round to trying them out.
Finishing the shave off with a few small dollops of Nivea Men Replenishing PSB.
My face & precious swede are feeling smooth & smelling divine.

Superb lather qualities and scent.
This razor was refreshed on the 0.1um diamond balsa and then stropped on the roo leather...the edge was smoother and keener...
Went with the Noble Otter to fit the theme (Stirling Sheep would've fit, but I wanted something different). Still struggling with hydrating it, ATG was rough+some weepers, still a smooth enough result. I think I am seriously overloading it, because I am adding a lot of water when face lathering. I think I need to load for 10-15 seconds as opposed to the 30-40 seconds I have been.
To fit the theme more, I wanted to use a Shark and try the vintage Chinese Seagull razor I bought NOS years ago and never used, but the allignment is horrible and I couldn't adjust it, which is probably why I've never used it. I'll still attach the picture even though I never used that setup (I took the photo before I loaded a blade).
