9/10. Again, a good shave. Not perfect, but nicely comfortable + smooth under the jawline. Clearly, the best approach for the Major is to use an adjustable razor set to a more aggressive level under the jaw and a mild one above. Not sure how many adjustable 3 piece razors there are, save the Futur. The Major wonders b/c he likes to pack a 3-piece in his dopp kit, since that fits perfectly into his WWI-replica travel kit.

8/10. A splendid shave, but the Major needs to mark it down b/c I managed to slip w/the razor & cut off a good chunk of his left thumbnail. No blood, fortunately. But, this demonstrates both why the Majior's CO worries about how clumsy he is, & why he'll NEVER use a straight razor. He can only see an attempt to shave w/one of these ending in tragedy.

* Turns out that shave #79 was w/this blade, too. The Major hopes to get a lot more shaves from each Personna blade than the two he got from each Astra. Fortunately, the superb shave from this blade suggests as much.

9/10. A superb shave, smooth + comfortable all around. Not a speck of redness after. Only slight issue is that, since the Blue is a very mild razor, it didn't do as good a job under the jaw line as above. But I'll take that as a trade for no irritation elsewhere.

* 3rd shave, no signs of needing to swap it. Personna blades cost more, but they're worth it.

Fortunately, it was nothing more than a very unfortunately located sprain.
