Four weeks of using the RazoRock Hawk V3OC and its trusty Schick Proline P-series blade and I kept the Wallace and Gromit party alive with the RazoRock JAWS 0.84. The Permasharp felt just like a fresh Shark Super Stainless in the JAWS and I felt like I was relearning this device. Nice enough shave. One ATG pass with a little cleanup. Shaving upper lip ATG was very comfortable.
In much more important news: Our Wee Babby has her driver’s license! #ProudPapa
She always does anything we both do better than me and this is no exception. One more person on our insurance and one more reason to tone down my buying shaving gear such as:
A 100-pack of Loi Titanium-Coated DE razor blades.

Pretty good shave tonight. Shallow ATG for just over one pass. Dug the ARKO! fragments out of the loading bowl and pressed them with another stick of ARKO! into an empty Stirling container for a glorious future. The Col Conk Unscented held its own on its own, so that was cool.
Had a better shave tonight than last night, but a worse earworm. Last night was “Uma Thurman” by Fallout Boy and tonight was “Because I Got High” by Afroman. Was that the reason? Don’t know.

I was going to change it up — break out of my rut — but the tiny hole forming in the bottom of my former megapuck of Col Conk Unscented (melt and pour, yessah!) asked me to keep 3017ing it and my AP ShaveCo G5A would not be denied (at least not until a Wee Scot arrrives). So….
A shallow ATG pass got most of the stubble and a steep ATG pass got most of what I missed. Managed a nick or two on the right side of my neck and my upper lip wished I stopped at one pass, but the aftershave only stung my sideburn areas, so uncertainty reigns.

Agreed. While I have really been enjoying their G5A, the Cashmere remains my favorite.
