Shaving Essentials TOBS

So I ordered some TOBS almond shave cream about a week ago. Today it arrived.

When I opened the tub it seemed to have a huge crater in it. At first I thought that it may have been knocked around during shipping, but it looks more like someone scooped some out. I also received tiny samplers of Fraser's Oriental Spice, Provence Sante, and Cremo shave cream.

What do you guys think?

+1. Knocked around. I read somewhere that TOBS settles really easily and the tubs never look full.

Thanks guys. I figured I'd ask here as I do not know what a full tub of cream is supposed to look like, since I usually buy tubes

Do you have a kitchen scale? Weigh it and see if it comes out right. I'd allow 5-10 grams for the tub itself.

I received some TOBS from another vendor. My tub was not all that different from yours. I'm guessing that it had more to do with the shipping/settling than anything else. FWIW, TOBS creams blow up with lather using very little cream on your brush. So, I would not be all that concerned with what you see in the tub because it will last you a very very long time.

Yeah I just ran my brush along the inner lid where a very thin layer of residual cream had collected, and it provided enough cream for an entire shave.

Maybe in a week i'll get to the actual tub!
