I apologize for replying to such an old post, but what brush is that? I’m sure it’s vintage, but are there any modern equivalents? I love that handle shape.


I don't know about that particular brush.

Rudy Vey can make any handle shape you want. Also vintage handles can be found on eBay; you can replace a worn out knot or have it done for you.

There are replicas. Whether the Heritage folks are still making brushes is a question I can't answer. Here is another link to a great many photos of their replicas.

It is a vintage Ever-Ready 836A, restored by a gent from another neighborhood and set with a Shave Forge 22mm High Mountain White badger knot. It is a favorite of mine! I bought a small a few lots of vintage brushes on eBay that had handles that I liked. I got 5 or 6 restored and knotted. Hope you can find one that you like!
