Whatever this model GEM is called.
It has a scratch in the top, but is perfect other than that.

I am not a tech expert by any means, but judging by the cap and pattern on the handle, I'd say 1970's.A Tech but know nothing about it. Ships today.

It’s decent, I like it. A little rough around the edges but the price is good.I didn't realize Baili made stainless steel razors. I have three of their razors and they range from average (not in a bad way) to very good.
How does it shave (aggression, efficiency)? It’s decent, I like it. A little rough around the edges but the price is good.

i have to apologise that i never tried the BD176 or 171. if i have to hazard a guess (i've only used it twice) its low aggression and medium (maybe medium-high) efficiency. Shallow angle and its an easy razor to use. grain of salt, ymmv etc. i've only tried the scalloped end so far though. How does it shave (aggression, efficiency)?
E.g. I’d rate BD176 as low aggression and medium efficiency, BD171 as medium aggression and high efficiency.
Sure does. That R41 with that handle looks Wonderful!
Enjoy.
Oh that's a Kelvin. A DES89K short handle.Not exotic.
Not expensive.
But an amazing value, beautifully crafted; the Edwin Jagger DE89 Knurled Handle, a present from Mrs. Lockback.
It's like the Toyota Camry of razors. And I mean that as a high compliment.
