Razorock Third Eye question

I received a mostly full tub of Razorock third eye from a generous member of B&B last week. I love this soap. It smells wonderful, and for the first time I can do a three pass face lather. If anything, I swear I actually end up with more lather on my brush than when I started. The soap is a great performer and provides great cushion and sickness. One question though, it kinda of is hot. As in it doesn't burn, but warms and tingles a bit. Is this normal? Or is this warm and tingly feeling i'm getting just a crush...

Probably a mild reaction to the Sandalwood scent in it.

Try testing it on the inside of your arm or leg and see if you get the same kind of reaction from it.

If it bothers you or you see a visible reaction to it, I'd stop using it and try something else.

No, it is not normal. It could be a reaction to the fragrance of the soap if this happens with this one only. Have you used any other in the Artisan Series?

Try another scent. They're cheap enough, and good enough to warrant another try before abandoning them.

I love the scent of sandalwood but it irritates my face something awful. I have tried many different sandalwood soaps all with the same result. Try a diffenent RR scent to figure out if the soap is bothering you or the sandalwood is bothering you. Hope this helps.

Well I don't think it was a reaction. I tried it again later and had none of the same effects. Ill definitely keep using it as I love the product. it almost felt like a niacin flush (which I guess it could have been, do kiwi's have a lot of niacin), or the time I did a study on Beta-Alanine. It was weird, but not wholly unpleasant. I give it a go a fourth time tomorrow and see. It would be a shame because its the best soap/cream I have used to date.
