WOW...just had my first shave with the QCS Vostok...what a great experience...beats everything else that I've tried by a mile. One of its outstanding characteristics is its thick CLINGING lather. Made the shaving process easier. When I finished I lathered up again and let the lather sit on my face for a while...very enjoyable! If you haven't tried it yet you owe it to yourself to at least trying a sample. I look forward to my next shave and to following it up with a mentholated aftershave.

Know what you're talking about...they have obviously never tried VOSTOK. I bought some menthol crystals to add even more of a kick to it, not that it needed more!

I used this for the first time today. I got a sample off the B/S/T. I loved the way it made my face feel without an overpowering menthol smell. Fantastic stuff.

Proraso Green has Menthol in it? It works better as cement in my Franken soap than anything...

I finished a tub of Vostok this morning. Frosty! Now I can crack open the tub of his brother, Iced Key Lime.

I'm pretty much using Iced Key Lime soap with Vostok balm for the rest of the summer. It's sooooooo nice in the hot weather.

I use it all year round. It's an amazing menthol freeze on your face. If you think you might know what it will feel like, imagine 100x colder. Just an amazing rush. Great stuff!

Feel free to try it out. It won't end your liking Proraso. I still use my Proraso green from time to time. It's just when I want that full on face freeze, I reach for the Vostok.

I haven't tried all of the other mentholated products yet but in all likelyhood you're probably right! Used it again this morning...what a nice blast!
