I hope to start a similar post in about 13 years - if I live long enough to see my 79th birthday. I am betting some of the old time staples like Cella and Proraso will still be among the favorites of wet shavers worldwide

I hope to hit that number in the future too. And I fully subscribe to your observations that this place is truly awesome. I have made friends across the globe most I am not likely to ever meet in person, but the interactions are sometimes at a level it certainly feels close. I love it!

My fourteenth anniversary was two weeks ago. Happy to say B&B remains the same courteous, gentlemanly place that it has always been!

I‘m on over 11.5 years here. I was a lurker for about a year until I felt I had enough unique questions and input to join. Another person who was tired of cartridge pricing.
Now I realized I recently went over 1,000 posts!

Your post reminded me that I joined just a few days over 9 years ago. I think in that time what people shave with has changed. We have many more choices in new hardware than before. The users here remain the same, always courteous. We have the mods to thank for helping to keep the discussion on track. It's a great community!
