Post your travel brush photo here!

This is my travel setup for a longer trip, it might be less equipment for a shorter trip.

Brushes are all synthetic, the one in the leather pouch on the left is my old 19mm Mühle Liscio black Fibre, the one in the middle is a 26mm G5 from Arno which I only take on road trips, and the right one is a “defect” Maseto synthetic. The “brush tubes” can store a 26mm brush comfortably; I haven’t drilled any holes in them yet and might not do so anyway, since I only store dry brushes in them; if a brush is still moist it’ll go in the leather pouch which is well ventilated.

I’d bring my plastic shaving bowl and a cheap tallow soap.

On longer trips I would bring my two least expensive razors, both zamak and double open combs, if the trip is shorter I would only bring one of those.

Loving the brush photos, but I'm also loving the other gear!

@Tomo Those little pelican cases are cool! I keep my shave in a dopp kit containing other toiletries, but the idea of packing a separate shaving kit that way is interesting.

@Multum in parvo I've found these work quite well, 2 oz size, pretty thick walls, I give them a slight squeeze while capping them and they've worked, leak-free, for a decade of air travel. I take Thayer's WH and Clubman on my road trips.

@Serban I have never seen that small tube of Proraso! Where did you get it? I use the small (1.7 oz) 3-pack C.O. Bigelow, which is actually Proraso green, from Amazon here:

May as well post anything you use while traveling, not just brushes, but brushes are the focus.

I got an old Chicago company made leather Dopp Kit years ago that I eventually gave or sold to another member here (can't remember) I liked it, but my OCD nature wanted something more efficient in size. But this is the kind of thing your dad or grandad would have used, thread about it here.

For $99, I am sorely tempted by this beautiful piece of Italian leather work, but I don't travel much any more, can't really make the case for it in my mind. Gorgeous, though!

It's a bit more reasonable in size than my old Chicago Dopp.

I don’t travel with a brush. I put a disposable Schick in my carry-on and that’s it. For the time that I’m away I can muddle through with a schmear of hand soap and an every-other-day shave.
Well, that works. But I find myself asking why you bother being on a shave enthusiast forum whenever you post stuff like this. 😆

Bought a few of those from the Muhle web-store in Romania about two years ago. I just checked and it's no longer available in this size, though they do offer 4 ml trial pouches.

I like to travel with a Simpsons Trafalgar T1 brush. Though the brush's diameter allows it to be inserted into the Simpsons small travel tube the tube is just a bit short so it would crush the brush tips when twisting the cap on. It certainly fits in Simpsons large travel tube but it just seems too big for me. Looking around my shaving drawer I found an unused shave soap twist-up stick tube and wonder if it would fit. Sure enough, it fit perfectly though I did remove the twist shaft so the brush would fit lower in the tube. For $2.25 I was pretty happy with my travel brush setup.

Here are some of my travel brushes. Three of them were purchased. The others were made. The Omega, Wee Scot, and Solid Set were purchased. The solid set was reknotted by the seller with a silvertip so it is close to the Omega in use. One was an AOS Temporary brush with a horrible knot so I reknotted it with a Finest. The others were made from handles purchased from Frank Shaving when I caught him in a good mood then knotted with either Silvertip or Finest, mostly from The Golden Nib.

Of course, I sometimes travel with full sized brushes as well.

Full sized brush (26 mm) and Old Spice Mug shown for perspective.
