For sure those razors looks nice, but for the price i would rather get a mint Apollo Mikron on E bay.
any info on the pricing of the acrylics?

at the current exchange rate, all the models are going for about $250 each except the gold one which is going for about $320.

yep, I'm going to be in trouble for this one. I have been looking at this razor for a few months now trying to thing of who I know in Europe that would get it to me. This makes it easier for me to get. oh what to do...

I believe it, Ray. I'm lucky enough to be using a stainless steel Pils, on loan from another member. This thing is built like a Panzer, but looks and performs like a Porsche! What a razor!

The price is a relative thing. Many wouldn't bat an eye at spending $200 - $500 for a digital camera, or the latest cell phone. Those will only last 2 - 5 years before becoming outmoded and religated to the back of a closet as yesterdays technology. A razor like the Pils will last several generations, if not more and will never become outmoded unless they stop making double edged blades.

Nobody has said that the price is outlandish, but it is a little high for what you get. I've paid a lot for a Gillette President and a Gillette Toggle, but those razors are in limited supply. You are correct on prices being relative.
