It would be on the side of the individual tucks if they are labelled like the ones from St. Petersburg. Is there a date on the box?

The Indian made 7 O'Clock Green Permasharp Stainless and the Wilkinson Swords are both nice blades, and excellent value at current prices. The long time made Indian Black 7:00 O’Clocks are quite good.
No, they slice into it.Can or do those blades hack into your computer bank account?
They might as well make them all in US now to be honest or build facilities in other friendly countries such as the UK, Australia, New Zealand Canada etc maybe even the Philippines.
This would surprise me not at all.Gillette already had manufacturing facilities in India, so this move doesn't surprise me much. For all we know, they import the blades in bulk crates from Russia and package them in India.
You could be right in regards to the repackaging.Gillette already had manufacturing facilities in India, so this move doesn't surprise me much. For all we know, they import the blades in bulk crates from Russia and package them in India.
I don't mind the Gillette/Wilkinson Sword Saloon blades. I have noticed that the centre/center hole punch can be a little smaller than other blades though, not a huge issue but can be snug on some razors.I have had excellent results from Indian made blades.
Gillette/Wilkinson Sword "Saloon". An excellent, straightforward blade, good for 3 shaves. Highly economical.
Super Max Diamond Edge. A great blade, very reminiscent of the Gillette Platinum. Well priced.
7 O'clock Diamond Edge, or 'Black Ninjas'. Top notch, to me they are similar to Wizamets. Somewhat over-priced recently however.
India is quite capable of making excellent blades in all performance and price categories.
Yes, a typo/brain fart on my part there. Sorry about that!Do you mean the 7 O'Clock Super Platinum blades? If so then yes, they are pretty great but they have never been super affordable or easy to acquire for me.
Since it's in India, the machine operators just might be able to..Can or do those blades hack into your computer bank account?
Neither me, same as Russian oilThis would surprise me not at all.
True. But also true that our individual personal responsibility to make ethical consumer choices only goes so far. We can't be expected to check the full provenance of every item we buy in this world, even brand new ones. That is what we have rules and regulations and trade agreements for, however imperfect. For all we know, they import the blades in bulk crates from Russia and package them in India.
Just because production moves to a new country doesn't mean quality will fall. It may actually improve with new machinery, management, workforce, etc.I think an Indian made Astra SP has every chance of being as good as the Russian one.
