O Type!

I've been wanting an O type just for the coolness factor, but an NOS razor presents a dilemma. To use or not to use, that is the question. Or, maybe the question is should I try to buy another one to use and keep this one in the bag?

Yeah, I know the correct answer is buy another one.

Not to rain on the parade here, but after a little research, I have a sneaking suspicion that you are actually getting a Nationwide Campus Type O clone.

Crap! I think you're right. The real O type has "Injector" at the bottom of the handle. The clone does not. OTOH the previous listing from the same seller called it a Schick razor.

Even if it was a clone (nation wide campus) the price you paid for the razor and blades was not a bad deal. Those Schick blades usually sell for $4.99 and up so that's $29.94 right there. The other $20.06 is the price of the razor. As long as the razor has no defects, then it's not a bad deal.

However, I understand you wanting the "real deal" Schick Type O. The closing price on that "real" Type O was obscene.

The fake O-Type is borderline unusable. I shaved with it twice before relegating it to my razor museum (aka the box where I keep the razors I don't like and am too lazy to sell).
