NBA Finals Game 7 Tonight

Okay fellers, tonight's the big night between the Los Angeles Lakers and the Boston Celtics! This has been a very intense series so far, so tonight ought to be quite the spectacle. If both teams can play at the top of their game tonight, really bring the whammy, then our little game 7 might just be epic.

Who else will be watching? :thumbup1:

I would love to. I'm not a big fan of the game, but I'll watch the championship game in nearly any sport.

However..........................

It doesn't come on 'till 10:30 here, and I have to be up at 5 in the morning.

I will be watching and rooting for the Lakers. It has been an UGLY series so far. Lots of sloppy play from both sides. Kobe has finally turned it on. The Staples center is going to be nuts. I think the Lakers win it, but only because it's at home.

I want the Celtics to win, but I want even more for this game to epic.

1.0 second left, Kobe with the shot FOR THE WIN....make or miss I wanna see it come down to the last possession!

Gasol! Big Time!

Paul Pierce seems like the only one with the guts to do anything for his team in crunch time. Garnett with his usual disappearing act...

Congrats to the Lakers and their fans.

Really? The fans that booed when the commish said that the Celtics were a worthy opponent?

I really don't like basketball but I watched a little bit of the finals series and some of some earlier games. This is exactly why I hate the way most basketball fans behave. Yeah, they're the "enemy" but when they take you to seven games you boo them. Hell, why even play the games at all... just give it to the Lakers every season because no one is worthy of even playing them. NBA basketball has become an uber-joke.

Just so long as it wasn't "los Suns"... another stunt.

What do you mean? The Lakers are a good team and have dominated for a while, but the Spurs won a couple of titles and the Bulls dominated in the 90's. The Celtics dominated forever when Auerbach coached. A single team's long term dominance in the NBA is not peculiar to this Lakers team.

Also, fans are unruly in every sport. Football fans are much worse than basketball fans. They'll boo a player who's seriously injured. And, actually, a Celtic's fan threw something at Kobe when he was shooting a free throw when the games were in Boston. People get drunk and act like idiots everywhere.

Anyway, I'm glad the Lakers won. Kobe played poorly for the majority of the series, but it was an ugly series all-in-all and he had a few games that made him the best possible option for MVP. Artest came up big tonight and seems like he's turned himself around. He got tangled up with Pierce and he was the one who disengaged. That's a long way from the Malice at the Palace.

We has the bling!

Los Lakers!!!!!

COngratulations to the referees

That was one of the most obvious, one-sided officiated games I have ever seen

Good job Stern

For someone who has been a lakers fan all my life, it was one of the best finals games ever. The lakers came back from a 3-2 deficit to win this. They came back from a 13 point defecit in the third quarter to win this. And it's sweet payback for what happened two years ago. Celtics are a great team and a class act. Nothing to be ashamed of, Celtics fans. But It wasn't the fans, it wasn't the refs, it wasn't about David Stern, it was about the Lakers and they earned that championship. My hats off to them!

You could have stopped right there. Never understood someone posting about something they really don't like.
