Imagining solutions for imaginary problems
Will do. I also picked up a black handled E2 that I'm anxious to show-off....I'll be "camping" over there before long! Please also post to SISSIES! It's getting a bit lonely over there.

Good morning all (well, it's morning here) -- it looks like we will have quite a Micromatic tribute. I'll be there with my very first Micromatic Open Comb (with internal "blade bumps")....and for those who cannot be with us tomorrow, I'll also be using my 1930-1932 "bumpless" MMOC. Lastly, my very first SE and razor brought to me by this thread's founder (the Schick E3) will be there for a clean-up pass and/or back of neck shave. All 3 razors are excellent shaving tools, but they also remind me of this thread and the start of my SE shaving journey.
I'm looking forward to reading about the shaves of the folks that have already weighed in, and I hope to see even more Micromatics, GEMs or other GEM-style ASR brands (if you don't have a Micromatic or GEM razor handy).
Micromatic Monday Approaches!!!!

Yes, all injector razors are welcomed. Also happy to contribute to the SISSIES. Do you count all razors that use Schick-style injector blades (Supply v2)?

i found where all my GEM blades were hidden.
see if I can remember how to use the flying wing again.
I'll blow my 85 day streak for an important anniversary.

Those "odd" blades can be difficult to locate sometimes, eh?
I hate for you to blow your streak....perhaps you can bring a SR along and split the shave between the GEM and the straight....just a thought!i found where all my GEM blades were hidden.

Nice shave gear this morning!@Ron R - What's that black handled razor in the last photo? It looks kind of like the Pushbutton, but with both buttons on the back and the head is different.
For my thread anniversary shave today it was the first SE razor I tried and the one that brought me to this thread; the "bumpless" Micromatic Open Comb (BMMOC).
