Long time search over for containers - 5 in like synergy shaving soap

I found these finally - 5 inches - just like synergy shaving soap - and perfect.
Free shipping.

We all know poor peformance of lot of soaps can be significantly improved by loading properly. Unfortunately small containers don't help with this issue. There were soaps that I had written off and now I see significant improvement int after using containers like these.

The large container is very helpful for loading a soap onto a larger brush. There have been too many times disappointing instances of excellent soaps that come in terribly small containers (PdP, Klar, a of soaps that come in wooden bowls). I'm glad synergy used this container choice, and hopefully other manufacturers follow.

They have some other sizes that look good too. I suppose "tin plated steel" should hold up to the moisture. It says it's good for food storage.

Try going here, if you are unsure they will even send you a sample tin to try, according to the lady I talked with.

Under tin containers, I just got the 5 in cd tin, which is not listed as food grade and a 4 in tin, which is food grade

I have a few tin containers that I bought that have rusted. One pretty significantly. So, as with many items, buyer beware.

Thanks for the link.
I found a different place last week, but they wanted a $10 "small order" fee and $17 shipping. Sheesh!

I know but the problem is that the opening on those tins is 4 inches - not more. This one is 5 - which makes a huge difference for anyone. Espeically if you are using a big brush.

Aditionally - the depth is so shallow that the brush is unlikely to hit

I actually tried IKEA ones with chubby 2 brush but I could not adequately load - at least not as well as I would like to.
On the other hand - smaller brushes work better though I am convinced that larger opening would be better.

I use WCS aluminum "tins." 3.5"/$4. They work great for me. Especially travel. I travel with 3...1-Mike's shampoo bar (1/3 of a bar); 1-Mitchell's Wool Fat Bath Soap (the small bar fits great); 1-da Fat-MWF (I had to do some carving to make it fit...Great for on the road face lathering).
