I love the Hibiscus. Mine really put on a show this year with over 100 blossoms, showing me anywhere from 1 to 7 blooms a day.
Nice! this one is at my mom's house. The original she planted was huge last year, but died. This one is a volunteer that popped up right along the sidewalk about 6-8 feet from the original.

American beautyberries are gorgeous wild plants.
I like that the lower picture has blow flies.
The loaded stems make a nice addition to floral arrangements (when the leaves aren’t as beat up as they are now, from recent hail storms). They are a nice draw outside a sunroom window, for birds to nosh on through the winter.
