Kings Men After Shave

Does anyone remember or have you tried Kings Men after shave? I remember that my Grand Pop used it back in the day.
I was a little kid and he would save the cap for me. The caps are shaped like a Knights helm.
Anyway I found a bottle on ebay and bought it for a very reasonable price.
Not sure if I'm actually going to try it. The stuff has to be 45 yrs old.
Would it be safe to try it?
Regardless the bottle will bring back fond memories of my Grand Pop.

Now, I am not old enough to remember this (I am 20), BUT I am PRETTY sure I saw a bottle of this recently at a Goodwill store. I wasn't into the scent at all but it did have like a giant topper that was super cool like you mention.

Didn't see your question...If it smells okay, try it. Most here use REALLY old stuff at one time or another. Trust your nose, if it smells rotten, it is rotten.

Found this unopened a few years ago but never had the heart to open it! The bottle is decorated in 23K gold.

Somebody gave my dad a gift set of this stuff one Christmas back in the 'sixties. He never used any of it (probably AS, frag and talc), but like every teenager, I poured it on for high school dances, dates and parties. Can't say that it did any good, though, nor do I recall the scent.
