Indian Old Spice Shave Cream

I purchased a tube of OS shave cream from India to try out. It produces a nice lather but the scent is nothing like Old Spice; Shulton, P&G, or otherwise. As a matter of fact it has only a faint fragrance that is rather unpleasant. Did I get a bad tube or is this "the stuff".

I was only able to obtain the musk version in the U.S. It lathered nicely and the scent was pleasant enough, but I've ordered some of the "original" via ebay from India (it was very cheap). From your review, I shouldn't expect too much...I'll post my experiences when it arrives.

You have a bad tube it sounds like. Check the tube for the mfg date.

I use the Indian Old Spice weekly and have used up several tubes. It smells exactly like the Old Spice we knew and loved.

Hmmm, my tube is about a year old. I will wait a while and see if I can get a tube from a different batch to try. The lather is nice enough to still use this tube up.
