Hello dear subforum
I'm contemplating getting either the OSS or the more expensive S3S - but other than the OSS being 1,5 cm longer and 30 grams lighter - what is the difference between the two razors ?
I hated the mildness of my Feather DE - needed a 999 pass shave to get a 50% BSS/BBS shave with a brand new Feather DE blade - changed to a new one after every single pass
I skipped WTG, and did an ATG, but with no success at all. I went into a special training camp facility to learn and discover the correct touch, angle of attack and how much I should loosen the shaft to obtain a less mild shave - still after 25+ shaves, the Feather DE still sucked just as much as when I did the first pass with it.
Currently own EJ Bulbous Lined Chrome, EJ Chatsworth Barley, Mühle Stylo Thuja wood and a Muhle Sophist R41 - and I like them all.
Also use Feather Artist Club Japanese straight razor and love it.
What will suit me best - the Ikon OSS or the Ikon S3S, or are they both too mild for my taste ?
I can't test it, so will have to blind buy it and hope for the best
Thanks for any advice you can give me
