Holiday Gifts for SWMBO?

What are you folks getting your Significant others for the holiday season?

my thoughs are as follows:

• Wool Socks - 5-10 pairs of cute & fun socks
• Overnight bag
• Pair of earings

i think with this list all bases will be covered. a handful of socks will be fun for her to open.

the overnight bag is something utilitarian that she'll be able to use, and im certain she wouldn't buy one for herself.

and the earings get to be something sweet from me

Just kidding folks - SWMBO deserves much more than I can ever provide her, she is a simple gal with great values. I have not made up my mind fully however I do know she will be getting her own personal shave gear set up. Aside from that I want to take her to a NY show.

I actually did by my wife cast iron cookware for Mother's Day a few years ago. She was absolutely ecstatic about finally having good cookware. She's wants a floor scrubber now.

My wife loves the various hand/foot/eye creams at L'Occitane, and you can always get yourself some of that wonderful CADE SS or ASL while you're there!

Ditto on all of that. I always try to listen to her various wants over the course of the year to find out what she'd really like, then make sure I pull from that list.

Keep checking Macy's website. I scored huge with a 1/2 ct. total weight hoop earrings. $199 for one day sale. They have constant 1 day sales and everything gos fast. So shhhhhh.

Also, got great stuff at Praire Creations. Wife picked it out but I'll be wrapping it.

under normal circumstances i wouldn't hesitate to fork $$$ over to you for your leading and shining examples of brilliance.

however, you're clearly misguided if you don't know the magic of cute and colorful wool socks.

Woof socks with the toe fingers. Looks creepy but women love 'em.

Mine is getting a pair of very nice diamond earrings and a diamond filled heart shaped pendant. For what those cost me, she won't be getting anything else. I probably spent more on her for Christmas this year than I've spent on shaving gear in the last 18 months.

I don't know what I'm getting her yet this year but I know that come new years My wallet will feel better this year than it did last year. In the last 3 months of 2008 we got engaged (Nov 1st.) she had a birthday (Dec. 8th) and then Christmas.
