Help with identification?

Hi there,

RAD is already setting in and I am spending far too much time already looking online for new beauties to acquire. Having said that, I have no idea what I should be looking for! Having said that, can anyone please help me identify the following razors?

My elbows leak

Valet Auto-Strop
Ball end Tech
50's Superspeed
Old Type (I believe - picture is pretty small)

Wow, that was fast! Are these good razors? Excuse my naivety but I really have no idea! From what little I have read I think Techs and Superspeeds have a good reputation in general... worth a purchase? Going for ~$10.

Absolutely worth that price.
Can't speak about the Valet, no knowledge.

The Tech is a great shaver and a good razor for someone new.

I love the Superspeeds, they shave fantastic.

The Old looks a little beat, but would probably clean up well, and even if it didn't it's still a very excellent shave, and a nice collectors piece.

I blew up the picture, not sure the Valet is present. Looks like the box with maybe just the strop? If you want to complete that set, the actual razor portion is not at all hard to find in great condition, though they aren't that commonly used (special blades that must be bought NOS and then worked on to make them shavable).

Seriously though, for the price? GREAT beginning to the collection (any of the 3 could have sold for that).

Welcome to the B&B (and to RAD!).

One more for you guys....

This one appears to be in excellent condition and is going for $15-20. Very tempting also... but what is it? Bear in mind I am a beginner, so would this be good for me?

Wow! Yes it's worth the $20. A lot more than $20. It is the British rhodium plated #21 from the late 1940's! Also known as The Aristocrat. Run and buy it now!
