What's new

Hello my name is Steve and I have SERAD!

This all started just picking up a nice looking silvery box in an antique shop about 2 months ago.
It turned out to be a rolls razor, Wow! being an engineer type I trawled the internet to find how it was supposed to work, fixed it, shaved with it, loved it and ended up here.
Now thanks to you lot:angry: I'm thinking I need to go into re-hab.
Current list
Kropp straight - rescaled & honed etc. by me, tried today but still needs work
John Clarke and son Straight- hidden in drawer from SWMBO awaiting attention.

Cheap shavette and starter pack of blades (at least the blades may come in useful if I ever progress/regress into DERAD)

Ever ready 1912 - amazing little bit of kit - daily shaver with gem ss coated blades (now have 100 blades)

Valet autostrop - also hidden from SWMBO, cleaned original rusty blade, honed on rolls hone, finished on its own re-vitalized strop, shows promise so now I've GOT to buy some feather SE blades, and of course while I'm about it another 100 Gems just in case of some nuclear catastrophe.!!!

Awaiting delivery of a Wilkinson Empire (NEW condition original strop in packaging etc. etc.) from the bay.

So just checking to see if it had shipped and clicked BUY on another 1912 Won for just £3.20 happy days:biggrin1:

Will I only be truly happy when I own all the razors ever made!
Sorry to bore you all with this story but it may have helped me.:001_unsur
PS. Can I be a LOSER too.:shaving::shaving::shaving:Please?

I was a fast convert to SE shaving. I acquired a British Ever-Ready 1912 and a Schick Injector within a short time period. I really enjoy both.

Steve, welcome to LOSERville.
Nice collection you got there but there's still GEM micromatics to explore. And since you seem to have an eye for engineering design.....lather catchers!
