Hawaiian Style: Another DIY Travel Case for my Edwin Jagger

Here's another travel case I made for my Edwin Jagger. I found the tin at Target in the dollar bin. I'm going to pick up some more and do some other designs, as well. It has options, compared to the Altoids tin.

The main thing I would change on this one is to make the "spacer" that keeps the razor from sitting on the bottom of the tin just slightly thinner to have a little more wiggle room between where it's at and the lid of the tin.

3/32" basswood with a blue foam sheet cut and glued to fit.

Thanks! It was a fun project. They are place holders until the antique cases I ordered come. One perfectly fits my weezerman travel brush and the other holds little baggies of soaps and creams (airport security safe!).

I certainly appreciate you sharing it. It always gets the hamster running in his wheel in this old noggin. Right now my next little project is going to be making a little travel case for my Gem Micromatic ClogPruf. I also have some ideas churning for a shave brush that I might pull the trigger on soon. I'm currently playing stay at home dad since we relocated for my wife's job, so I have some free time to think about these things.
