What's new

Guess that movie quote

OK, the movie was D.C. Cab with Gary B. as the connection.
Not a great movie, but it has some funny spots and many faces that people who lived through the 70s/80s would recognize including: Busey, Mr. T, Max Gail ('Wojo' from Barney Miller), Adam Baldwin (Jayne from Firefly/Serenity, Animal Mother from Full Metal Jacket and tons of other), Marsha Warfield (Night Court), Paul Rodriguez and Bill Maher.

Moving on...still connected by Busey...

1: Hey, look friend, let's just cut the ****. Now we both know why I was transferred. Everybody thinks I'm suicidal, in which case, I'm ****** and nobody wants to work with me; or they think I'm faking to draw a psycho pension, in which case, I'm ****** and nobody wants to work with me. Basically, I'm ******.

2: Guess what?

1: What?

2: I don't want to work with you!

Lethal Weapon, Gary Busey!

Lethal Weapon it is! You're up @FoxInfinitySunset !
Oh boy!
K, I'll keep the connection secret but it's probably pretty obvious given who is in LW.

#1: Well, they're Indians. They probably just stole the ponies!

#2: Not everybody's like you, Mrs. [#1].

#1: What is it with you and Indians anyway?

#2: Oh, nothing. I try and shoot one a day, if possible, before noon. How 'bout you, Coop? I figure it's their fault for being on our land before we got here.

Hmmm... Silverado maybe?

"B" is the same "B" as above...

B: I hate these funerals. It's just awful when another good Democrat passes on.

C: I believe the deceased was a Republican, sir.

B: Oh, well, then it might not be so bad.

It's been a while, and I dont remember either line, but based on the theme, and James Garner as a connection, I'm going to guess that's My Fellow Americans.

All right then. A connected favorite...

"I also think you're the most hapless, lazy, disorganized, and in general, most lecherous person I've ever known in my life."

"I am not!"

"You're not what?"

"I am not disorganized!"

"He's been reading "God's Little Acre" for over a year now. He's underlined every erotic passage and added exclamation points. And after a certain pornographic climax, he's inserted the words "well written.""

This is about as close to a giveaway as I can get, I think...

"Captain, it is I, Ensign Pulver, and I just threw your stinkin' palm tree overboard! Now what's all this crud about no movie tonight?"

that line alone brings tears to my eyes. what a great movie. I was never moved to see the sequel, however.
