What's new

For those who have recommended La Toja.

Thank you! :thumbup1: I had my first shave with it this morning and it was fantastic. Loaded quickly on my whiskers and created a wonderful lather very easily with my Semogue 610. The lather was creamy and slick. The scent is VERY nice as well. Again, thanks.

I received my shave stick haul today with La Toja, Speick (used this in the past and love it), Euro Palmolive, and LEA. Excited about trying the others but the La Toja was tops!

Oh I love the La Tajo shave stick from its lather to the unique fragrance. I liked it so much that I also ordered the the black Magno bath soap! $Magno Soap.jpg

I have a couple La Toja sticks.... and I've used it once or twice. The lather is spectacular.... I've just had so many other soaps to try that I haven't used it nearly enough. I guess I'm more of a soap puck guy rather than a soap stick guy at the moment.

You're welcome! I'm using the La Toja bath soap now. Long lasting and great smelling. I could smell it outside the bathroom window while trimming the bushes today!

La Toja is my favorite stick. It's great in stick form and when grated in a wooden bowl. Nice scent, awesome lather and the added mineral salts leaves no reason to use an alum block post shave. It will close up small nicks during the shave!

Interestingly enough I had my first shave with La Toya as well this morning. Took it on vacation with me and I'm very happy I did.

Love the lather, love the scent, something about it doesn't love me though. It leaves my face itchy and irritated.

I found that out this weekend. After using alum after La Toja, I think I know how salted slugs feel. I'm looking forward to ordering the Magno bath soap soon.

I didn't know about the mineral salts. Thats probably why La Toja always leaves a slight stinging sensation when I use it.

A regular in my soap rotation. I grate it into an old AoS cream tub, press it down firmly, and use it like any other puck.
