Flea Market find.

As the title says, I went to the flea market this morning and found a couple or razors. One a Gillette adjustable and the other a Schick. Both were in some kinda sorry shape so I ended up giving 8 bucks for both.

Time for the unveiling after some clean up. What I believe is a slim adjustable with a date code of J-3.

Next is a Schick Krona. Boy oh boy was this thing in some seriously bad shape. It has a good amount of brassing around the edges and under the head. It cleaned up fairly good though. I know nothing about the Krona razors but I'll still see how she works.

A little brassing gives them character. Great finds, and a very good price.
My son loves his Krona, BTW.

You might try applying some plain carnuba wax to the razor, on the brassy areas (after the scrubbing bubbles, etc.). That will keep the brass finish from going green for some time. It is easy to reapply, too. Johnson's wax, available everywhere in the US, works just fine.

I'll give that a go, thanks for the info. I used the Slim tonight and it's quite a nice razor.
