I have two. They are not that rare and in reality are too light...

I can't remember a time when this old friend was not for sale. The seller just keeps re-listing it over and over and over again.

If he drops the price by 90%, he might find a buyer.
He listed it 3 times in the month of June alone. Although I think he might have given up.

Hi could have cleaned and polished the razor for that time, while waiting for a sale.

I love the description "small amount of patina"

If nothing else, that guy gets top marks for persistence. That junky razor has been for sale for way more than 12 months. Aren't there listing fees if you relist the same product every week for a year (or two)?

That's a lot of $ for an empty case, I know it's an uncommon one but :yikes:
Yeah, its a lot of money, but if I had a Bottom Dial 195 already, I probably would have gone into the four-figure range to get the case.

And I bet a lot of the losing bidders are kicking themselves that they didn't reach higher for it.

NOOO!!! Without the blades and instructions, it is still just a broken box - an incomplete set! I confess: I don't understand collecting (sigh).

Full disclosure: I need (want) a Bottom Dial case. If this one would have been in better condition, I would have gone to the mat for it. But broken hinges is a deal breaker.
