Different Use for Shave Secret

I was in a Wal-Mart store to pick up some allergy medication when I saw this fellow buying numerous packages of Shave Secret. Being inquisitive, I asked the man about his use of Shave Secret. He said he puts on shaving cream and does not use it as a pre-shave product or on his face in place of lather as the package says to do. Instead he puts a few drops of Shave Secret on his razor blade to help it "glide" over his face.

Any of you Shave Secret users do it this way?

I've never heard of this, but it makes sense.

Back when I was experimenting with PSOs, I used Shave Secret as an additive to lather rather than a stand-alone product. I came to the conclusion that PSOs were more trouble than they were worth, though, and I stopped using them.

i just picked up some and i guess i'll try it that way. The smell of the clove is to strong for me
