Cyril R Salter paddle strop - pre-pasted?

Hi all,

I've just received a Cyril R Salter two sided paddle strop (http://www.executive-shaving.co.uk/shaving/leather-strops/cyril-r-salter-leather-hand-strop-2052.php).

I got the strop to use as a pasting strop to sharped up the edge but I didn't realise that one side already comes green.

Does anyone know if the green side is pre-pasted or if it has just been coloured for you to paste yourself?

Reading the description, it says one side is just colored green and is normally used for crox applications.
