C+E Nomad Shave Cream

A little while back I bought a tube of this cream on a whim (you all know what that is like, I'm sure ) and finally got around to opening it this morning for my Sunday shave. I wasn't so sure about the scent (and even now a couple of hours later I'm still undecided) but the performance of the cream was top notch.
Does anyone else have thoughts or experiences with this one?

This was one of the first creams I tried when I started out. I loved the scent right away and it is still one of my favorites. I found the cream very nice but it dried my face out a bit some times. I haven't used it for a while now but I think I might give it another soon. I also have the ASB that I use in my regular rotation and its a favorite of mine.

It is more of a winter scent for me. I enjoy it and keep it in my rotation.

The scent will grow on you. And it always seems to be the ladies favorite scent. I've C&E worker I've ever asked (all women) always say the Nomad is the best.

I dont get Nomad. Everyone likes it and C+E people say it's bestselling but when I took a wiff of the soap I cringed. It's like a a handful of peppers got jammed into my sinuses. Not sure about the cream, maybe it's a little more mellow. I prefer Sienna.

Bought this cream about 2 years ago. I really like the scent and it is a solid performer.

Perhaps next time I would try a different C&E scent though, just for a change.

The C&E creams are top notch. I have been using the Nomad a bit lately, I bought a tube from a GSL member a few weeks back. I like it, but I think the Sienna is my favorite.

Both work really well, though.

They are by far the best creams I can get locally.

Nomad was my first shaving cream too!!

I haven't used it in about a year, but coincidentally i've thought about using it tonight. I think i will. It's a good cream but can be a bit drying without aftershave.

I also really like their sandalwood in the tub. Everytime i've got there ive wanted to get sienna but its sold out.

I just shaved with C&E Sweet Almond OiL(a discontinued scent) and I have to say that it's probably one of the best creams they've made. My favorite C&E cream and then Nomad.

Sniffed all the C&E creams, and settled on buying their Sandalwood. Smelled the best to me! Really good shaving, as well!
Oops! Misspoke! The Sweet Almond cream was gone by then; only have that in soap, and it is nice, too!

Nomad was my first cream. Love the scent but it's a bit to expensive.

This was my first "Real" cream, too, and it worked great when I was just applying it with my fingers, but as soon as I started lathering with a brush, it all of a sudden stopped lubricating entirely, and my face turned into one big patch of razor burn. Eventually I managed to get it to lubricate as well with a brush as with my fingers, but it took the addition of a TON of water to my bowl when lathering. Not nuts about the smell, either, although it has grown on me.

I started on Proraso and then moved to C&E Nomad for a few years. To this day I still have a bunch of their jars and tubes of Nomad. A few bottles of the Nomad ASL too. Great scent and excellent performer.
