My custom straight made by Bill Ellis just arrived today, and I am completely speechless!

Here are some more pictures taken by Bill. Notice the beautiful engraving on the spine and the yellow gemstone.

Wow, that is one beautiful razor!

The most I've ever spent on a straight was $120, but maybe one day in the future I will have to consider an Ellis custom...

I recently got one of Bills razors and even though it is 1/4 grind it is not a heavy razor like most 1/4's that I have. I was surprised just how light it is. The back is 3/16" if I remember correctly so the heft is way down.

Nice razor you got there. It is almost a shame to shave with it, isn't it?

Take Care,
Richard
