It's in Milford? Next time I'm back home - I grew up in Nashua - I will have to check it out.I remember when Franklin's was little more than a trailer parked in the same lot as the coffee roastery I worked at. Even then I'd see people lining up at 11am! Now that I'm back in New Hampshire I'm lucky enough to be 15 minutes from a great BBQ trailer called Phils Old Fashioned BBQ. Some of the best barbeque I've had anywhere, and the brisket I've had in NH for sure!

I hate to say it, but I don't eat BBQ often. The wife has to be in the right mood for that.
Ain't that the truth. Smoke and big meat beef flavors are not the wife's thing. However, she will beat me over the head for the last rib.

When the LOML and I go out for BBQ she usually gets fried catfish. Not that there's anything wrong with that, but why get catfish when there is brisket on the menu?
Maybe because brisket is just smoked pot roast, and is not real BBQ?

Ha, ha...see now that's what happens when you've never eaten real BBQ.

There are some more locally famous places in our area, like Redbones in Somerville (to me more of a "hangout/drinking" place since their BBQ is just OK), and Blue Ribbon BBQ (solid, only takeout) in Arlington and Newton.
Wow, that place looks cool, you gotta love that pit. The potato salad doesn't look like it has enough bacon in it for my taste. I'm assuming those are pecan pies, did you try a slice?
