American Made Tallow/Triple Milled Soap?

I have looked at a few places (gentlemen's quarter, mamma bear, and pirates cove) and it seems that all of them are glycerin based soaps. Does any one know of any american made Tallow based soaps? Open to larger companies, but would prefer smaller boutiques like the ones listed. Seems like all the tallow soaps are made in the UK.

Soapbox's parents are working on one, but it's not yet available as a final product. You might want to PM soapbox however for info.

Our own Krissy is working on a tallow-based shaving soap formula. Trials are on-going as we speak . . .er . . . write.

A relative of mine got me some of her Bourbon Vanilla Shave Soap/Cream (it's hard to decide what to call it) and I loved it. Slick and smooth with richness and cushion.

Yes indeed, and I think they're definitely on to something. :thumbup1:

American made. Tallow. Williams.

Let the fireworks begin.

You. Went. There. :eek::lol:

Like it or not, and I happen to like it, Dave has a point. Is it the best stuff out there? Definitely not, but it isn't that bad though YMMV a lot.

Lemon pledge-I tried a puck and ended up using it as a shower soap.

Lemon Pledge would be a step up from my impression of Williams: I think it smells like citronella, a chemical smell that I find to be repulsive. ICK! :eek::eek:

I super-lathered it with Kiss My Face Unscented for about 10 shaves, and then said "why bother", and tossed the rest of the puck into the garbage.
