A bit like this --
The finish on the HD and SS is similar, but the knurling seems more pronounced on the HD. I also appreciate the ring towards the head of the HD -- it's a small detail but adds just that much more class to the overall appearance. You'd have to hold both in your hands to really notice the difference. The SS seems puny comparatively. I'll find out soon how the actual shave compares.

Now I'm going to have to puy my British HD to the test as well. I still have yet to use it as I'm leaning more towards 3-piece razors now.

To me $8 is a great deal on anything these days.
You certainly can't buy much gas (or petrol) for $8.
And you aren't going to get anything for $8 that is going to impress as many people here as that Chrome Toggle will. OK maybe an $8 bottom-dial I95.
