A Silver Shaving Mug with a (re)Purpose

Recently I won this silver plate shaving mug on ebay.



I originally thought that I might be able to find some sort of glass insert to make it usable as a brush scuttle. When it arrived, I found the opening at the top was too small to make this practical.


Then I had an idea! ... that and some black craft foam gave me a new holder for some of my razors.

Seriously, that is a very cool idea. A vintage unusual holder for some very vintage razors!
