3 Restore Rescales

[Nerdman]

I did these for a couple of members today.

The friodur is done in acrylic with a black liner and a white wedge. The owner wanted to keep the lines and size of the original scales.

Pipe razor is done in faux ivory acrylic, black wedge, stainless washers and silver nickle rod.

after seeing this picture, i went and fixed the pin, it looks beter now!

This one had a few bad rust spots. I ground them out the best that i could without losing too much metal. Restored scales.

Great work Ernie. That first one rocks! And those pins came out awesome on #2. #3 has some cool scales. What a difference in the blade before/after.

Wow, that is excellent work.

The FW Engels is mine. My GF picked it up for me at a antique store while she was on vacation. Not know knowing she was picking up an Engles, she bought it because she liked the inlay on the scales

Im stoked it came out so well and surprised that it looks like it'll become a decent shaver with the way it looked prior.

Anytime Josh, It has some pitting on near the edges, but it seems that after a honing you should be able to make it a nice shaver!
