What's new

2 ER100T restorations done a week apart

ER100T on left
22mm TGN black badger set a bit lower than its brother
only 1 shave in so far. Stiff but not scratchy, i like it.

ER100T on right

20mm TGN best badger set with a stack of pennies for heft.
6 or so shaves so far, blooming nicely. nice backbone with very soft tips. Both brushes great for face lathering.

handle on right was my great grandfathers brush, a barber by trade in 1920-30s New York. Ive got his straight and strop also.

These are my 2nd and 3rd re-knots. My good buddy CyberJCM plans to keep me busy with 4 brushes to do this coming week. And with a lathe and some turning stock on its way, let the fun begin!!!

they turned out nice, I love these style ER's
and the history that it was your great grandfathers brush makes it even better :001_smile

100T's are very underrated. They are nice and light, and feel great in your hand when in use. Shavemac redid one for me with a 47mm loft and slightly less backbone than normal. It's by far my favorite brush.

thanks for the kind words!
