New Gear SOTD:

Had a great shave today with some new gear. The Pearl Flexi is very new. This is only the second shave on this razor. I cranked it up to 6 and didnt look back. Decent and pleasant blade feel. Not too aggressive. Efficient enough. A pleasure to use. Great results.

The AP Shave Co G5a Brush just came in last night. First shave was today. Very Badger-like. Some scrub, no scritch. Lots of Backbone. This brush is a keeper.

This is my second shave on the Oceana Soft Heart as well. I got a bunch of soaps in over the last month or so, and its taking a while to get to them all. The Oceana is a great scent, and the Soft Heart is a wonderful base. I grabbed this one on sale because every non-Omnibus B&M soap is being discontinued. Omnibus will be the only base in production going forward. As awesome as Ominbus is... Soft Heart is different enough, and good enough, to stand on its own. Its a more traditional lather versus the crazy gooey high structure Omnibus lather.

The clubman is old. The blade was a vintage Wilkinson Sword produced London Bridge.
