Tri-plex. When you absolutely, positively need to shave a Klingon.
Injector looks good. Is there any explanation for why the inventor thought 3 cutting edges was better than 2 or 1?I don’t dig on old blades, so I’ll try it either with an injector…

How much pressure does it take to make the oscillator roll?View attachment 1353724

Here’s my oddity. The King Oscillating Razor. The round thing on top rolls against the face causing the blade to oscillate back and forth. It uses a proprietary blade—but there are still some in the box so I used it (fearfully—because why would you want a blade going back and forth?). Anyway, the shave was terrible—but I still laugh thinking about that frightful shave and my fear of slicing up my face. And yes, there are still some blades in the case if I ever want to try it again.
A lot more pressure than I expected. The problem is soap or cream is intended to reduce friction, so the razor and soap have conflicting priorities. How much pressure does it take to make the oscillator roll?
Honestly that thing is kind of terrifying.
Yep definitely terrifying. Lots of pressure, and an oscillating blade? That's a recipe for disaster imo.A lot more pressure than I expected. The problem is soap or cream is intended to reduce friction, so the razor and soap have conflicting priorities.
another triangular razor is the maktor.Tri-plex. When you absolutely, positively need to shave a Klingon.

Looks sick, how much and where from?Going through pics of razors I have stored away and spotted a few strange ones. I have shaved with every one, some were dangerous, some were sublime. I'll post one every few days. Post pics of your off the wall or weird shaving implements.

Looks coolMy contribution to this thread is a fairly well known one but still odd. This is the shake sharp V1 for those that don't know it, it's from the mid 1940s. It takes Standard double edge blades but only one side is visible at any given time. It has a hone built in that can be flicked in and out to help maintain a blade edge.
It's not quite as weird as some in this thread but it's still an odd razor. I have the v2 as well which is similar but full metal construction.
