Why does same blade lasts longer for different people?
A lot of different reasons.
They just want to change to a different blade
They have heard a blade only lasts for x number of shaves
Difference in heaviness of their beards
Different levels of skill when it comes to technique
Different sensitivity to blade degradation
Different soaps and preparation
Different razors
Frequency of shaves
Blade care & maintenance
Plus probably this many reasons I’m not thinking of. That’s why YMMV is never more true than when it comes to blades.

Derby Premium on use 3. It seemed a little less sharp this time around, but in any case it's the end of the month and time to unload the razor it was in (the '56 Red Tip) for a new one.
Derby Extra (1). Revisited them after a long time. They just don’t cut it for me.
