Your Travel Kit? Jack Black For Me.

Evening chaps.

Last week I went with work for a three day training course, a mere 300 hundred miles from home. So naturally I needed a travel kit. Already owning a Jack Black 'Pure Performance' brush, and quite licking it, I decided to act upon the offer that arrived in my email inbox and take advantage of 15% off my next purchase with Mankind.
So, after a little digging, I stumbled across a Jack Black 'Jet Set' travel essentials bundle. Shaving cream, face wash and moisturiser.
For less than £20 delivered, i thought 'why not'.

It was only after I'd purchased the set that I decided to look up some reviews for Jack Black cream. Fair to say that most were negative. Some real horror stories. Still, it was too late to do anything about it, and i decided that maybe, just maybe, using the jack Black cream with the 'Pure Performance' brush may help, being synthetic and all.

Well, three days of shaving, three way pass too, and all I can say is not a weeper, nick or irritation. No complaints. Will use again, at home and away.

So, does anyone else here has a dedicated travel set?

i do: a Gillette Fatboy, a boar travel brush from omega, then I've just finised a tub of aqua di parma cream which I'm not buying again (too expensive), so Arko soap is in now, alum block, a travel size container of Floid Blue and whatever blades I happen to pick up from the den [as I tend to just grab the travel set and go, there is always a Feather and a gillette black. As good as home, where I use an omega boar too, but the big one!

Nice. You don't think AdP is worth the money? Not tried it myself... Do you have a tube for your brush to travel in?

I have a 59' fatboy the last of my first shaving cream (proraso green, enough for 7-8 more shaves) some bics and walmart Wilkies and Clubman as my scent (there is so much clubman) so its all my second best stuff. I also keep a small stainless steel bowl in there but I am going to remove it since I just face lather now.

well I'm no brush licker but I do have a travel kit which I keep in a toothbrush/toothpaste container in my toiletries bag.

omega synthetic, gem g-bar, tube of shave cream (either aussie Palmolive or Fauldings Shave Lather) no bowl. works great!

Well, I'm travelling for the first time in a while without the adP... and I'm not buying another, I replaced it with an Arko shave stick but the smell of this may lead to further changes! the brush is actually a travel oriented brush so you simply unscrew the bottom and plug it in and it keeps clean, very simple [ ref 50014], I'm told many American military have it.
