You can add more weight. The bottom of the handles unscrews.

Yes I did and the razor does really well. The extra weight helps a lot.

My favorite handle is a polished Feather SS handle that I shortened.

I use my Feather AS1 handle on many of my Gillette News and other OC's. Great handle. I felt the Feather As head was worthless.

My Weber bulldog is amazing in terms of grip, but the slightly longer length (10mm?) on my Kaiser short on top of the amazing looks makes it my daily driver.
