My Jermyn St cream came in a very nice tin. I would like to order the soap refill and put it inside the tin. Will it fit?

How wide is the tin? I bought a refill of Jermyn Street soap and it fits perfectly in the plastic Jerymn Street cream tub.
The plastic tub measures 3.25 inches inside.

Is the soap as great as the cream. It is one of my favorites but I enjoy the swirling of brushes and the prolonged shelf life.
Just measure the tin, if it is 3.25 inches wide on the inside then the puck will fit without milling.
I like the soap better than the cream. Here is the lather I get with Jermyn Street soap.
Also, the soap is curved on the bottom.

I must say, I prefer the look of the metal tin compared to the plastic tub for the cream. Never tried the soap, but judging by those lather photos, I probably should.

Based on that curved bottom some milling will be required.
Or, you could just flip the puck and put the flat side on the bottom of your tin.
