What's new

Who likes shiny? Vintage? Bob's handywork? It's all here!

I have had a Pomco slant travel razor that has a 2 piece aluminum handle for quite a while. I don't use it much because it's not much fun with the undersized handle, but the head is pristine and I have long thought it would be awesome with one of cooncatbob's handles. I gathered the funds and placed an order with him a few weeks ago.

Bob's a pro and his work is top notch, as many folks on here can attest. This handle is everything I'd hoped for- with this head the razor weighs 105g, and it shaves like magic. I'm delighted with the results...

Just Stunning. A work of art and it shaves even better. Wow:thumbup1:

Thanks! The extra weight really makes this razor shave well. I have another 2 piece slant (also a Pomco, but the same as vintage Merkur I believe) and it's a great razor, and not super light by any means. This hefty handle really puts this one head and shoulders above my normal slant, the difference is surprising.

I'm sure that configuration mows down whiskers with ruthless efficiency. Great looking as well!

Absolutely marvelous, outstanding, distinguished, magnificent, dominate, phenomenal and remarkable, all wrapped up into one.

Such a nice combo. Great work by Bob and good choice with the head. Thanks for sharing and great pics. Now I want to do that with a Coles Slant I have.

You won't regret it if you do. I think these handles are such a great upgrade for a razor you may already have. I have a new deluxe head that I'm looking forward to trying on this handle too!

I love custom/handmade stuff. I'd much rather spend my money on something made by a talented fellow enthusiast than a currently made, mass produced razor any day.
