Which TOBS scent is the most subdued

So I'm getting into Christmas shopping. My Dad wants some shaving stuff. I was going to get him some TOBS stuff but I was wondering which ones have a subdued scent. He isn't a big scented guy and was looking for a very mild scented cream. I use the Mr. Taylor's but I'm not too familiar with the rest of their stuff. Thoughts?

I went to the TOBS shop in London last year & gave all the creams a good sniff. Shaving Shop was to my nose by far the most nondescript scent. Jermyn St stood out as the nicest & avocado as the most interesting, but in a good way.

None of the scents last longer then the shave so i wouldn't be too worried about which scent you go with.

My favorite is the Coconut, but the Eton College, Jermyn St, Mr Taylors, Shaving Shop and St James are all really really good.

Travis.

Another vote for Shave Shop here. To my nose the Eton College and Mr Taylors have the strongest scents of the TOBS creams.

Let me think about this.
Start at the finish, rather than the beginning.
And maybe more important...what would the 'wife in his life' like the best??
Then, get that as A/S, and match the soap/cream.
Bingo, you score double points!

Can't go wrong with the Coconut SC. The scent is very light and doesn't stick around past the last rinse. It's one of my favorite from TOBS. The other cologne based SC's from TOBS linger, at least on me. My wife can smell them even after I use TSD iced cedar AS.

The lavender cream is scented only with essential oil - no fragrance oil. It is very light and natural, leaves virtually no trace scent, and blends with just about everything.

Shaving Shop cream is light scented IMO thats what bothered me about it. (I liked it so much I wanted more) I better shell out for the Cologne.

St. James
Don't get me wrong, I like this scent too, just not as much. The thing I guess I don't like about St. James is that it kinda reminds me of Cool Water by Davidoff, which I used to LOVE, but it just got too played out in the 90s... like the band Creed.
