What's new

Which are your favourite Penhaligon's scents?

I walked into a small store in town today and found, to my pleasant surprise, that they stock a small range of Penhaligon's products. Testing scents is not something that I have a lot of patience for as I tend to go into sensory overload and want to "grab something and get out". With a few suggestions, maybe I can narrow the choices down to 3/4 which will be worth trying next time that I have a chance.
FWIW- I'm open to most suggestions as far as scent is concerned. I find that some work better than others at different times of year so I won't categorically say no at this time :wink2:

I enjoy Guerlain Vetiver and for light splashes the Imperiale. I spray my night shirt with Imperiale for a pleasant aromatic tuck up; SWMBO likes to snuggle :wink2:

As far as Penhaligon's scents.

English Fern
Endymion
Quercus

I only have the sampler.

I mean the small vials that you can take home with you. That way you can try them out at your leisure. A scent sometimes is good when one puts it on but may be less good as the day progresses.

Alternatively, I think if you contact Penhaligon's directly, they send out samples of most or all of their scents. I know I received some a while back. They are very nice, decent-sized vials.

For me its Castille, followed by Endymion, Elixer, and English Fern (the three E's?). I like all of them, but those are my favs, at the moment.

Blenheim, English Fern, Castile, Endymion. BB and Endymion are very good as creams too. I could get to like Opus as well but you have to stop somewhere!
