Oh god how I hate the smell of beef tallow. It's soviet household soap and even has the color. It will whip up into a huge pile of slick lather like no one's business no matter what brush you use but it's a bit corrosive, I feel. How is it on the skin afterwards? Drying, tightening?

Also today I used LEA Sensitive in a tube and a small scoop of Cyril R. Salter's Wild Roses.
This soap doesn't smell like beef fat at all. It has a very pleasant unobtrusive aroma. A lotion with a similar fragrance is offered in the soap kit.
Description from the manufacturer. Shaving soap: beef fat, stearic acid, coconut oil, water, goose fat, mink fat, lanolin, glycerin, sorbitol, maltodextrin, macadamia oil, sodium citrate, sodium lactate, castor oil, vitamin E, coconut milk, aromatic composition. Aftershave lotion: alcohol, water, ceramide complex, phytodecongestive complex, d-panthenol, dragon's blood extract, blue algae extract, Canadian cypress extract, royal jelly extract, natural moisturizing factor, aromatic composition, stabilizer, preservative.
This soap does not dry or tighten my skin at all. However, my skin on my face is quite oily.
