This should have been a great lather, but as soon as I put my brush
to the soap in my scuttle, I knew I forgot something. I didn't shake
out the brush after soaking it. Instant lather, but a bit thin. I should
have just started from scratch again, but I made due and I still got a
close and comfortable shave.

Soap: Williams and Mitchell's Wool Fat

I went with my tried and true Williams/MWF combo, which is like the Reese's of shave soaps for me: the Williams adds slickness, and the MWF adds cushioning and longer lasting lather and a pleasant scent.

IVanDerWilliams with a 26mm plissoft synthetic shaving brush. My own blend of 40% Van Der Hagen Deluxe, 40% Williams and 20% Ivory soap. Yesterday was just Williams Shave Soap with a Razorock Boar Brush that is a rebranded Zenith 80N. Thick and slick lather from both combos.
